With the rapid development of digital technology, the transformation of digital media is profoundly affecting the construction and evolution of urban innovation ecosystem. Digital media not only change the mode of information dissemination, but also promote the upgrading of industrial structure, the reconstruction of social network and the development of cultural and creative industries, which in turn shape the new urban innovation pattern. This paper analyzes the core driving forces of digital media transformation, including technological breakthroughs, social media changes and transformation of content production methods. It explores how digital media affects the urban innovation ecosystem through mechanisms such as optimizing industrial structure, promoting innovation collaboration, and reshaping urban space. Analyze the challenges posed by digital media, such as the digital divide, cultural diversity and information equity issues, and propose corresponding policy response strategies. The study suggests that digital media transformation in promoting urban innovation also requires the collaboration of government, business and society in order to realize the sustainable development of urban innovation ecosystems.
