Abstract

The increasing prevalence of e-commerce and mobile technology has led to a surge in popularity of online ordering platforms, which have significantly impacted the agency problem within restaurant delivery services. This paper examines the agency issues involved in restaurant takeaway services, analyzes in detail the positive and negative impacts of online meal ordering platforms on the agency issues of restaurant takeaway services, and puts forward targeted policy suggestions for the negative impacts.
