Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology is non-intrusive and operates without time restriction. It has been widely adopted in financial processes across industries. Meanwhile, securities companies play a core role in fund flows and manage sensitive data, making risk management crucial for them. This study focuses on the practical value of RPA technology in risk management within the securities industry. Through literature research and case analysis, this study compares the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management before and after applying RPA technology in Western Securities Company. The study reveals that RPA technology mainly has three functions: risk prediction and identification, strategy formulation, and continuous monitoring. Western Securities built a "data foundation + data model" structure to integrate data from multiple business platforms. Besides, the company adopted an "RPA + AI" fusion model for real-time monitoring and analysis across systems. RPA technology has the characteristics of 7×24-hour automatic operation, which saves 375 hours for each person per month and dramatically improves the anti-risk ability. Western Securities needs to strengthen data encryption and real-time monitoring to maintain data and network security. Besides, the company should pay attention to training employees to use and design financial robots and reserve funds to deal with operation problems. In the future, the government will strengthen the legal supervision of digital technologies. The intelligent automation of enterprise risk management will combine RPA with more digital technologies and comprehensively improve the risk prevention ability.
